Maddawg's Seasoning came about just being a hobby at first. It didn't take long for the hobby to switch gears. Our owners/ Partners are Keith Roberts and Jennifer Roberts. A husband and wife team. Keith is a disabled Marine Vet and a retired Firefighter/EMT and soon to retire from Law Enforcement. Jennifer is a Social worker by profession and a avid hiker and a talented artist (per Keith) and Jen is the family cook because honestly Keith can't cook unless it's grilling. 

   Whenever Jen is cooking Keith sits with her and watch's her craft their food. With this Keith has learned that seasoning mix's help make dinner faster and more favorable. When at dinner one night Jen told Keith he needed a hobby other than firearms. So, that's where this story takes a wild turn. While grilling one weekend Keith was aggravated because the burgers lacked flavor in every bite. This is where he came up with the first blend, granted it was mixing other blends together to make a finished product but he wasn't selling those. Then a old high school friend put him onto Gun powder blends. This is where the ball really began to roll. Keith did some simple research and found some recipes and he started tweaking the recopies until he found what he liked.  That is where the 9 mm Blend came from and the base to all of our salt blends.
